Anna Sorensen
Anna is a queer-identified mother and a graduate student who has been committed to social justice work for much of her life. (She is also a brand-new grandma!) Over the last decade Anna has worked on marriage equality and LGBTIQ equality in whatever ways she could. She has served as an EQCA chapter leader for Glenn County, done signature drives during the Let Freedom Ring campaign, done organizing and training for No on Proposition 8 phone-banks, and organizing rallies. Anna helped to found the S.A.M.E in Santa Barbara County. She's served as the chair of the Social Justice Committee of her local Unitarian Universalist Church (Live Oak UU Fellowship of Goleta). She likes to work on strengthening coalitions by bringing resources to her local area and sharing local resources with the larger community, thereby strengthening the impact of local work.
